Visitor Policies

All Visitors must check in at the office!

  • Check-In: 2 p.m. 
  • Checkout: 1 p.m. 
  • Staying Less Than 3 Hours: Free 
  • Ages 4 and Over: $5 

Payment and Reservations

  • A deposit and a credit card are required to hold a site. If no cash or check is received within 14 days of reservation, a 1-night deposit will be charged to the card. 
  • Credit Card Deposits: Transactions occur 10-14 days prior to reservation. 
  • No Shows: Charged for a 1-night stay. 

Cancellation Policy

  • More Than a 2-Week Notice: Deposit refunded (-$10 fee) or applied to a future visit within the year. 
  • Less Than a 2-Week Notice: Deposit is non-refundable. 
  • Early Departure: No refunds. The remainder of the stay is forfeited. 

Removal Policy

Shady Oaks Family Campground reserves the right to remove anyone from the site for disobedient behavior.
